The Wesleyan Church is an evangelical, Protestant, holiness denomination
organized to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
The technical name for our Church's theological heritage is Arminian-Wesleyan. This
refers to the teachings of James Arminius and John Wesley.
Arminius (1560-1609), a Dutch theologian, stressed that God has predestined all who
believe in Jesus Christ for eternal life and those who reject Him for eternal separation
from God; that He has given us as human beings true freedom to accept or reject this
salvation; that He offers grace to enable all persons to repent and believe; and that
believers are secure spiritually in Christ based on continued faith and obedience to
God.
About Us
Romans 10:10
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you
are saved.

Our Statement of Faith

Wesleyans are convinced that
the Bible is God's written Word
and the final authority for all
Christian beliefs and practices.
Therefore, our statements of
faith, which we call "Articles of
Religion," seek to express only
what the Bible teaches

Our Statement of Purpose

19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all
the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the
end of the age.    Matthew 28:19,20  (NLT)

As a dynamic church proclaiming the Word of God, we purpose to have a
Contagious Passion For Obedience to Christ by:

Worshipping God (Psm 95:6,7; Rev 4: 8-11)
Building and encouraging Christians toward spiritual maturity (Rom 12: 1,2; 14:19)
Developing Christians for ministry (Mat 9:35-38; Eph 4:11,12)
Evangelizing the world for Christ Acts 1:8
